Little Red Riding Hood
If you came down to the British School Woods on 23rd June you were in for a big surprise!

BSN Primary students put on a fantastic performance of Little Red Riding Hood featuring Chloe Pinney as Red Riding Hood and Lance Pan as the scary Wolf.

It was a great performance by all involved and a special thanks goes to those teachers and parents for helping the children bring Roald Dahl's version of the tale to life!
Presentation Evening
Thank you to everyone for taking part in our first annual Presentation Evening on 16th June. The night was brightened by a range of outstanding musical performances including piano, recorder and choir.

A special thanks also goes to Carma Elliot, British Consul General, as our guest of honour on the night, as well as Gilbard Honey-Jones, Academic Director of the British Schools Group for presenting prizes.

BSN OPEN DAY!!!
We had a great turnout at BSN's first in-class Open Day.

Many of our students' parents as well as new families came along to see how classes are taught at BSN. After starting off with a Foundation Assembly, visits to classes around the school gave everyone a chance to see the classes in action.

Thank you all for coming along!
Chinese New Year - Gong Xi Fa Cai!
This week ushers in the middle of our Spring Term and the beginning of the Chinese New Year.

On Friday 1st February, all students came together to create a brilliant Spring Festival Assembly with songs and a story telling.

Fantastic lion dancers were also a highlight as were Diablo, Kung Fu and Drum Dancing demonstrations.
Snow, Snow and more Snow!

The week of 28th January has marked Nanjing's biggest snowfall in 50 years!

Due to traffic coming to a standstill and student safety, BSN was closed Monday and Tuesday.

Thanks to the efforts of our hard working staff we were able to reopen Wednesday with cleared pathways around the campus.

It was great to have the children back at school and thanks also to parents for their patience through this heavy weather period.
EAABIS Arts Festival

BSN is very excited to have the opportunity to send a group of our students to the 2008 EAABIS Arts Festival.

Hosted by our sister school in Beijing, the EAABIS Arts Festival is a chance for 10-12 year old students from British schools through-out the South East Asia region to participate in music, art and drama workshops.

This will be a great opportunity for our students to learn more from others throughout the region and marks the first of many EAABIS festivals for BSN.
