The British School of Nanjing is an independent, British-run organisation established to provide high value education to the expatriate community of Nanjing.

The school was established in 2007 in response to demand from the local international community, at a time when no other school in Nanjing was offering British education. Its principal aim continues to be the provision of excellent educational based on the English National Curriculum.

The school is governed by a Board of Directors of The British Schools Group (see Our Group section) that delegates powers for the day to day running of the school to the Head Master.
