Educational Trips
Educational Trips

It is school policy that every child beyond Reception age, should take part in at least one day trip per term, and for children in year 3 upwards one residential trip per year. All trips are carefully planned and staffed to ensure the safety of all participants, and have the common objective of both providing an intense educational value as well as helping develop the character of our children.

Whether it is a day visit to a museum or a 5 day trip to Xian the school strongly believes that these activities are an important building block in the education we provide.

Day Trips

Every student from Pre-Nursery upwards will participate in at least one day trip each term.  Day trips build on the themes and concepts introduced in the classroom, and allow children to apply them to real life situations. Whether it be a famous landmark, a museum, the zoo, a supermarket or even the cockpit of an airplane, it is always exciting to see real-life applications to the things we learn.

Residential Trips

Every student from Year 3 upwards will have the opportunity to participate in a residential trip each year.  On these trips students spend one or more nights as a group. These trips may be done in Nanjing or outside to other cities in China.
