Rumors stated that frosty the snowman snuck into school gates around 11:00 AM on Monday, November 16^th. This reporter had his doubts as to “weather” this was possible or not—I knew our security team was watching the gates and it usually doesn’t snow in Nanjing. 

As I began my investigation into the alleged school break-in, I discovered something very strange…Nanjing Weather had taken a turn and there was snow covering the school grounds and not one, two or even three snowmen had snuck into the school, rather 5 SNOWMEN!

After a long talk with James (The School’s Lead Security Guard) the mystery soon unraveled itself…there wasn’t a break in, rather it was that international students in Nanjing had done what student’s all around the world do from time to time, they had taken a moment out of their busy school day to enjoy the Nanjing weather and play in the freshly fallen snow. 

Let’s hope we see some more of this rare snow come Christmas Day!
