British International Schools across China celebrated Guy Fawkes Day. Here at the BSN Nanjing School , Timo Mcvey (BSN music teacher) invited Tony El Chico local Jazz legend to come in and prepare the children for their night’s performance.

Around 5:30 PM families arrived at the school and were welcomed with, roasted chestnuts, hot soup, mould wine, a roaring fire and a lot of great conversation with parents and friends of the school.

At 6:30, a fireworks display dazzled the audience while theschool and Nanjing were lit with a rainbow of colors. Immediately following the display, years 5-7 gave the audience and even more beautiful display as they sang various Beatles songs, led by Tony El Chico.

Thanks to the Nanjing Weather, Tony El Chico, Timo McVey, years 5-7, and don’t forget ole Guy Fawkes, It was a great night in Nanjing.
