This week, Year 2b had a special visitor, the King’s baker, Thomas Farynor. He told them about life in London during 1666 and how the Great Fire of London started in his bakery in Pudding Lane. He left the children to make a favourite cake of King Charles II.

The children had a great time dressing up, baking and learning history.
