The students, dressed in many cases 'to the nines', were invited to enter the Hall at 6 pm. However, in the few hours since they had left to go home, a team of parents had turned the space into a sophisticated ballroom - complete with twinkling lights and beautifully laid tables. A team of waiters - recruited from the teaching staff - then served the children with a sumptuous 3-course meal, before the dancing and games began. The only disappointment of the night was that it had to finish - however even this disappointment was mitigated as each guest left with a gift to take home from a truly enjoyable evening!
